HomeTim Fights Childhood Cancer

IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM TIM PEREZ:

Dear Friend,

As you may or may not know, I lost one of my best friends to cancer at a very early age.  This experience greatly affected me and I have tried to honor my friend’s life by financially supporting organizations in his memory.  The mission which I have supported most significantly is Paige’s Butterfly Run.  In the fall of last year, I decided to take a big step and join their board (with a 3-year commitment).

As part of my board service, I have been asked to raise funds to support the mission.  The cause is amazing (see below & the attached newsletter)!  I am asking for personal donations as well as larger event sponsors for our events which may be seen on our website: www.pbrun.org.

You may donate online at my personal donation page: Tim Perez Fundraising Page.

Checks can be made out to: Paige’s Butterfly Run and sent to me directly to my home address: 7508 Birdsong, Cicero, NY 13039.

If you are able to partner with us through a corporate type, larger sponsorship, I can put you in touch with our executive director to discuss opportunities.

I am hoping you will find it in your heart to help this very worthy cause that I am very passionate about.  These children and families need our help now more than ever.  Please feel free to call me to discuss (315) 415-4986.

Thank you,
Tim

Paige’s Butterfly Run helps children and families fighting childhood cancer by providing:

  • Newly diagnosed families with a backpack full of essentials & $200 VISA gift card and then
    ongoing financial assistance
  • Meal and gas cards throughout the year
  • Hospital staff with resources for teaching children about their diagnosis and offering in-hospital family meals, celebrations and art
  • Funding for programs that help pediatric oncology families engage outside of the hospital
  • Survivors with financial support for long-term follow-up care
  • Financial assistance for funeral costs, grief counseling and keepsakes for the heartbreaking cases when a family loses their child
  • Funding for pediatric cancer research being conducted at SUNY Upstate Medical University

Sadly, the children’s cancer center at Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital in Syracuse sees approximately 650 patients each year.
