Eight Central New York School Districts shattered all previous records of Paige’s Pajamarama Friendly Battle of the Schools by raising a near $41,000 this year to help children and their families battling cancer at Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital!
The event which allows students and faculty to wear their pajamas to school for a day, in return for a donation to our mission, took place on October 6th this year. We are so incredibly grateful to the students, staff, administration and families of each district for being so generous. Returning to the battle were: Cicero-North Syracuse CSD, East Syracuse-Minoa CSD, Liverpool CSD and West Genesee CSD. New to the battle this year were: Baldwinsville CSD, Jordan-Elbridge CSD, Marcellus CSD and Phoenix CSD. St. Mary’s Academy of Baldwinsville joined in the Baldwinsville Pajamarama while the Northminster Early Childhood Center joins in the CNS and Liverpool event. We were beyond grateful to have BASCOL join in the fun this year too! Check out our social media to view fun photos from the day.
Pajamarama events can be hosted by anyone, anywhere! From a school to a small business or a big corporate office, you can help raise awareness for childhood cancer and funds to support kids and their families fighting pediatric cancer at Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital.
